The NAB ad is truly amazing. Can't believe they sold that. Well done.

"The AWARD Call for Entry is now closed
Finalists will be notified early October."

This may or may not help. Knowing AWARD, it'll be as late as possible.

That New Holden ute ad stopped me, the kids, grandma and the x wife in our tracks. May not award well, but hells bells it worked its arse of for Holden
    (for a change)

Nab was cool too. the second time I saw it, I didnt feel the same the second time I saw it, but man grabbed me by the nuts for a while.

being a bit tough I think,

At first I thought the NAB ad was the next in the shallow, vacuous Red Rooster campaign. You know, the red socks... But putting the production excellence aside, what the fuck is the NAB ad saying? What are the non ad-tragics ie, the punters, supposed to take out of this extravaganza?

Climb every mountain? Sure, I'll go to Paddy Palin's for a fucking tent and some boots.

NAB ad is not that good. For fuck's sake, get your heads out of your arses. This is very averagely shot, not funny, too long and highly fucking irrelevant. Believe me youth, this is not good advertising.

Jesus guys. Stop waffling on about the NAB ad. It's Ok, Ok? What about the Ivan Zacharias spot? Now that is well made (and if you don't beleive me, look at the two opening shots, side-by-side). Let's lift our game a little more now that we're playing with the big boys, rather than just waving our (rather small) flag.

I agree, slightly. The NAB ad is okay and no better- it's no doubt a hard sell to the bank, but that alone does not make it good. To be honest it has a wear out factor of about 1, I've never felt compelled to pay attention to it after the first viewing. Sorry.

It's funny how bitter jealousy makes some people. Especially advertising dickheads.

I'm sure people siting down on the couch watching TV prefer the NAB ad to any other ad on TV. They all suck by the way.

I think it's excellent work in a category with some of the worst ads. As for what is it saying? Are you really that dumb?

Well done to all envolved. And ignore the idiots posting above. The best work they ever did was never seen by anyone.

A little confidence goes a long way... Isn't the same message of Aussie home loans? and wasn't AXA be life confident? And many, many, many other financial services? Confidence...what a tired, cliched, over-used strategy. I can't believe they sold that! Selling that old strategy to the Bank and getting away with it, now that's confidence! ANZ remains the best advertiser on that category by a mile, so get real 6:13pm. I'm sure the people on the couch will prefer to watch any ANZ commercial on air at the moment over this over-blown, pseudo-epic, bang-your-own-drum piece of crap from NAB.

Just saw the new Pure Blonde tvc. It is the best thing on the box right now! P'd myself, though not sure whether the dove bottle opener or the mud flicks caused the most wee wees to flow. Congrats to the team.
