Cool. Just what advertising in the southern hemisphere needs - more poms!

Yeah, we wouldn't want creatives who understand the cultural landscape of the markets they're communicating to. If we had that we might end up with marketing communications that connect with viewers and hold some relevance for them. We wouldn't want that, would we?

His use of the term "cultural landscape" aside, he's right though. When will we as Australians fucking grow up and accept people who don't fucking come from here. Riots in Sydney, pom-ist attitudes in advertising, it's the same thing.

"...people who don't come from here..."??
None of us come from here, dickhead. We were all immigrants somewhere along the line.

And having a problem with somebody using terms with more than one syllable that may actually mean something more than can be explained by an episode of The Simpsons, why don't you grow up a little?

The sooner boofheads like you open your minds a little, the sooner this industry will haul it's sad arse out of the black hole in which it's currently wedged.

That'd be a great title for a novel 'Cultural Landscape Wanker'

Isn't "cultural landscape"just a pretentious way of saying "culture"? "Wanker", on the other hand, seems fairly concise...

How small and petty can we be?

To my knowledge, Mr Amadeo has more creative cred than anyone in the region.

From the previous statements, he'll stay that way.

What do you mean by 'creative cred'?

I think people were just stirring mostly. Mr Armadilo will do fine.

You know that's not his name. Armadillos are not native to this cultural landscape.

Hey guys.

Don't know if you noticed but the "pommie creative" is coming to New Zealand, not Australia. Last time I looked at an atlas, New Zealand was still a sovereign state, and a racially more tolerant one than Australia, for that matter.

I know Andy and he's chosen New Zealand for that very reason.
